Our story
The idea for MaiVita arose from the life experiences of its founder, Thu Trang Ho. As the child of Vietnamese immigrants, she took on the role of translator within her family at an early age, especially during doctor's visits. In doing so, she often witnessed how language barriers could lead to misunderstandings, uncertainty, or incorrect medication use.
These observations led to the development of MaiVita - an app that makes medical conversations understandable, breaks down language barriers, and supports families in their everyday healthcare needs. The vision behind it is clear: safe, accessible, and trustworthy health information for everyone.

What we do
MaiVita combines modern AI technology with professional translators and medical expertise. Our app translates medical conversations in real time, explains medications in understandable language, and offers secure navigation through doctor visits and health information.
We are starting with a solution for Vietnamese-speaking patients in Germany and will gradually expand the service to include other languages. In addition, we are continuously developing new features that will further support families in their everyday lives.
About the founder
Behind MaiVita is Thu Trang Ho – founder, product strategist, and Mom to a toddler.
With experience in marketing, product management, and community work, she combines technical expertise with a personal connection to the Vietnamese community. Her own life experiences were the starting point for MaiVita and continue to motivate her to create a solution that empowers families in the German healthcare system.
